Bobby Creekwater

Bobby Creekwater (born Antione Rogers) is an American rapper and hip-hop producer from Atlanta, Georgia who is a former member of Shady Records.

Creekwater was born and raised in various parts of Atlanta, Georgia, and its surrounding area. He attended Clark Atlanta University for one year before leaving to pursue his music career. He and Charlie Jangles formed the hip hop duo Jatis, which was signed to Columbia Records and then Loud Records, but Loud was shut down before Jatis could release an album.

As an unsigned artist in 2004, Creekwater appeared with Aasim on the song "Anyway", from P-Money's album Magic City. Creekwater was noticed by Shady Records when label executives heard him rapping on a demo by Aasim. Shady Records president Eminem was more interested in Creekwater than Aasim and, in mid-2005, signed him to his label.

In late 2005, Creekwater released a mixtape, Anthem to the Streets. Newsweek described the recording in positive terms, saying it "delivers drug-peddling tales over the cheeriest possible dance tracks. Sesame Street sings crack rap."

In March 2006, he was one of the celebrity panelists at the Detroit Hip-Hop Summit on Financial Empowerment.

On December 5, 2006, Eminem released Eminem Presents the Re-Up, a mixtape-turned-album created to promote Shady Records' newest members: Stat Quo, Creekwater, and Cashis. Creekwater appears on five tracks, including remixes of Eminem and Nate Dogg's "Shake That" and Eminem and Akon's "Smack That". The album received mixed reviews. The Los Angeles Times wrote that Creekwater "sounds like a demonic André 3000", and the New York Daily News said he "has a deep tone and a smooth enough flow, revealed best on the jazz-funk 'There He Is'." The Sunday Mercury wrote that Creekwater is "easily the best of the three" new signings.

In 2007 he released two mixtapes, Anthem 2 Da Streetz II and Back to Briefcase. The Washington Post's critic, in writing about the single "Acid Reign", said Creekwater "threatens to usurp T.I.'s throne as King of the South with effortless rhymes and slow-burning brio."

He is currently working on his debut album, Not Now But Right Now. The album's executive producer is Eminem. Tracks will be produced by Mr. Porter, The Alchemist, and Don Cannon.

In May 2009, Bobby Creekwater released his second EP in six months. The BC Era Deuce, the follow-up to the BC Era EP, was initially scheduled for a limited edition physical release on March 4, but was pushed back to March 18 and then to May 1 so that more features could be added. It was released via Creekwater's imprint, BGOV, Inc., and contained a collection of eleven new tracks, featuring production by Creekwater, as well.

As of August 14, Bobby Creekwater has left Shady Records. His song, "The Day I Got Dropped," clarified the situation, explaining that he did not get dropped by the label. The rapper also released a freestyle on Kanye West's "Big Brother's" beat talking about Eminem, Stat Quo and Obie Trice.

Creekwater is heavily influenced by fellow Atlanta group OutKast and has stated that he believes OutKast-member André 3000 to be the greatest emcee of all time. In April 2010, Creekwater released, "Da Art of Storytellin' Pt.5" in tribute to the group.

Cashis

Ramone Johnson, better known by his stage name Cashis, is an American rapper who was born and raised in Chicago, but moved to Irvine, California. He is signed to Eminem's Shady Records. He was featured on the Shady album Eminem Presents: The Re-Up and released the County Hound EP in 2007. In 2011 he plans to release a retail mixtape called Shady Loyalty 1st and a full lenghth LP called Youth in Asia.

Cashis formed a group, The Renegadez, with H-Bone and Monique (also the mother of one of his eleven children) and they sent a demo tape to Eminem's Shady Records label hoping for a record deal.

By 2004, Cashis was regarded as the "rap king of Orange County" and attracted the attention of Shady Records A&R, Dart Parker, who signed the young talent after hearing his mixtape, Stars With Stripes. Cashis’s introduction to the masses, however, wouldn’t come until 2006 when he appeared alongside Eminem, 50 Cent and Lloyd Banks on You Don't Know the first single off the platinum-selling Shady Records compilation, Eminem Presents: The Re-Up. His first solo release was the charting County Hound EP, in May 2007. The County Hound reached number 106 on The Billboard 200 and 37 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart.

Cashis has 10 children, his grandmother and two siblings in his care. He linked with producer Rikanatti and rappers H-Long and Monique (also the mother of his oldest daughter) to form the Renegadez. The crew enjoyed local success until tragedy struck in 1999 when Monique was murdered.

Despite the loss to Monique, Cashis tried to carry on but was hit with another blow when he was arrested for parole violation and had to serve a short sentence. Once released, he reunited with the The Renegadez and refocused on music.

SwizZz

Born and raised in Southern California, SwizZz is not your stereotypical MC. Through his music, SwizZz reveals a wide range of experiences, much of which he credits to his biracial background. He is not, nor does he claim to be, a “thug” or a “gangsta”, but prides himself on being able to reach the masses by being honest about his confrontations with life’s challenges. It is not always glamorous or positive, but you can count on SwizZz being true to himself.

After high school SwizZz got accepted into the University of California at Irvine, but after two years he has decided put his education on hold in order to pursue a career in music. He was having a hard time figuring out what he wanted to major in, and because he couldn’t find anything he was passionate about in school, he didn’t want to continue down a path in which he was not going to put forth 100% of his effort. SwizZz strives for perfection, and quite frankly, mediocrity is not an option.

Since dropping out of college SwizZz has been in the studio, grinding away at his music. While working on all elements of his craft from songwriting and storytelling, to his physical fitness and image, he still finds time to bless the mic with a freestyle session. And SwizZz’s freestyles are always off the top, never written, never rehearsed. Some folks have described his style as “real”, “raw”, “loony”, “creative”, “insightful”, and “authentic”. But however you want to describe him the man is a unique talent.

SwizZz is inspired by all type of music, from hip-hop and alternative rock, to trance and R&B. If you got a hold of his iPod, then you would find Jay-Z, Canibus, Kool G Rap, Big Daddy Kane, 2pac, Eminem, DMX, NaS, Taking Back Sunday, The Used, and Circa Survive just to name a few of the many artists that he is a fan of.

A pivotal player in the Funk Volume movement, he plans to help us usher in a whole new era of music and develop up-and-coming artists.

If you need to find SwizZz, he is the basement, writing, producing, working out, and honing the various skills needed to perfect his craft.
